Message from the President
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude for your exceptional understanding and continued support for TONETS CORPORATION. Since the foundation in 1937, our company has been engaged in providing services related to design, installation, and maintenance of air-conditioning systems and various other facilities and systems, and offering high-quality equipment based on our technological abilities, expertise, and experience gained over many years of conducting our business.
We are now in the midst of unprecedentedly rapid changes of the environment, such as a rash of natural disasters due to climate change and as well as events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. With various events occurring one after another, our society, corporations, and individuals are facing numerous challenges. In addition, upon the adoption of the 17 goals defined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, companies are expected to participate in and contribute to the effort to achieve these goals by the year 2030.
Our company is determined to continue contributing to efforts to solve the challenges arising from the current and future environmental issues, especially global warming, with our “technological capabilities.” In the heat source part, which uses a high ratio of energy consumption of buildings, we have developed various types of systems, such as “E-SCAT®,” a total optimal control system for a heat source, which has achieved the world’s highest energy-saving level; “T-COSMOSU®,” an upflow-type air conditioning system with the goal of achieving a maximum cleanliness level of industrial clean rooms and saving more energy; and a system connecting a 3D laser scanner and a BIM, which dramatically reduces the labor involved in a series of operations for renewal from field surveys to drawing up and proposal of plans. With the “technological capabilities” that have brought about such technological achievements, we have created an optimal environment required for comfortable lives of people and production operations of companies, thereby making an effective contribution to some of the problems now being encountered by society. For the future, we are committed to put still more effort into development of new technologies at the next level.
We also strive to realize the reform of working practices and thereby becoming a company that can offer job satisfaction for all the employees with various values, to foster employees with a high level of “human skills” who have “a strong mind and a healthy mindset,” and to balance the “human skills” with “technological capabilities” so as to be a strong company that can effectively deal with various issues and challenges of society today.
Regardless of the conditions of our business environment at any one time, we, as “TONETS with technology,” which is the reputation we have gained in our long history, continually strive to become a reliable company that gains trust from the society at large and to achieve continuous growth and improved company value, based on our management philosophy, “aiming for development with a balance of environment, society, and culture, as a responsible company.”
